Recruitment policy ensures 'positive customer outcomes', says Kent Reliance's Cockerill

Simon Cockerill, head of sales at Kent Reliance, says three recent appointments provide evidence that ensuring positive customer outcomes remain at the centre of everything the business does.

Mr Cockerhill made his observation as Kent Reliance, part of the specialist lending and retail savings group OneSavings Bank plc, announced the appointment of two regional sales managers and a senior business development manager.

He says the appointments demonstrate ongoing commitment to strengthen relationships with broker partners and intermediaries across the UK and have been made in response to increasing demands from brokers as the market specialises in 2018.

James Forth and Alan Kimber, previously senior business development managers for Kent Reliance, have been appointed as regional sales managers, and are charged with building on their "extensive industry experience and to continue to drive broker relationships forward in 2018".

These changes follow the recent arrival of Helen Comben as senior business development manager, in north and central London, reporting to Alan Kimber. The former brings fifteen years’ experience as a business development manager for NatWest, Intelligent Finance and Nationwide.

And Mr Cockerill said: “2017 was a busy year for us as the specialist market grew. Building on our successes, Kent Reliance continues to invest in ensuring positive customer outcomes remain at the centre of everything we do, by recruiting the best industry professionals.”

“James and Alan’s appointments are well deserved and it’s great to see internal progression at Kent Reliance which is a clear endorsement of the business’ investment in talent. Helen’s extensive experience in the role of BDM will also be a valuable asset to the team, helping to create yet more opportunities in the year ahead.”
